June 29, 2019 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Join Victoria Johnson, author and Associate Professor of Urban Policy and Planning, Hunter College, New York, as she discusses her new book, American Eden: David Hosack, Botany, and Medicine in the Garden of the Early Republic. A finalist for the US National Book Award in Nonfiction, it is the story of the founder of the first botanical garden in America.
