BathTub Orchestra welcomes more budding musicians

Bath’s newest Community Orchestra was founded in October 2018, and is an informal mixed ability orchestra that plays all kinds of music from pop songs, jazz, blues, film and soundtracks to classical favourites. The orchestra is open to all kinds of instruments and welcomes new players, with rehearsals taking place every week in the centre of Bath. Under the direction of composer-pianist Edward Bettella, the BathTub Orchestra has big plans for 2019 with recordings and gigs planned for later in the year.

Edward Bettella, the Orchestra Director said “We restart our weekly sessions on Tuesday 15th January, and we are especially looking for more brass, strings and percussion, but we would love to hear from you whatever you play. You don’t have to be a musical maestro! If you are enthusiastic, can read music and play your instrument at around an intermediate level, and you would like to find out more, please email bathtuborchestra@gmail.com
