50% of people who go on a diet put on more weight than they initially started with. There are thousands of different types of diets on the market, all contradicting each other. If diets worked and weight loss was always sustained, the dieting industry would not be worth billions globally.
So what even is a healthy diet? Why do some diets work and others don’t? How do you know if you are eating enough? How do you know if you are eating the right foods?
In this two hour seminar we will unpick the most commonly asked questions surrounding nutrition.
Is it as simple as calories in vs. calories out?
What’s the deal with gluten, intermittet fasting, alcohol, caffeine, sugar and a plant-based diet? What is important for health and what is a myth?
There will also be an open Q&A at the end of the seminar.
Coffee, tea and light snacks will be provided.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There is free parking outside the hotel. However, you must register your car upon arrival. If travelling by public transport, the hotel is located a 10 minute walk from Bournemouth train station.
