Learn to Fish Summer Fun

Learn to Fish Summer Fun

Posted on behalf of Learn to Fish South West

Learn to Fish South West has joined up with the Angling Trust, Environment Agency and local fishing clubs to run a summer of FREE events to give as many people as possible the chance to get into fishing.

Come and try fishing at our South West events and get into angling. It’s a great way to get the whole family out there doing something different and will show kids new skills to learn in the outdoors. Everything you need to catch your first fish or learn more about angling is provided and our friendly volunteers will make you really welcome.

You can book a 20 minute slot with an experienced qualified angling coach then borrow some equipment and put what you've learned into practice. Plenty of help from club members.

Perfect for: Families of all ages and experience levels – complete newcomers very welcome! Parents and grandparents – just bring the kids along and have a go yourself – it doesn’t matter if you are an experienced angler yourself or a complete beginner – come and get fishing!

Events run all day but please be aware there may be a wait for a coaching session. As long as we have kit available you can stay as long as you want. Please register for either a morning or afternoon session. Bring a chair and a packed lunch. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join us on 27th July at Harper's Lakes, Exeter, register using the Eventbrite link.
