Seeking an experienced worker to support across all our innovative daytime/evening programmes
This role will offer a variety of work across halow project’s services; currently the award winning ‘A Reason to Get Up’ programme, halow’s Social Activities, and the ‘Building Futures’ programme. This will involve a flexible approach that will primarily be daytime work but will also involve evenings and occasional weekend work. This is chance to join an innovative and hardworking team at the forefront of supporting people with a learning disability to live the life they choose as independently as possible.
We are seeking an energetic Cross Project Worker to lead and deliver sessions and provide appropriate admin support for our daytime activities (A Reason To Get Up groups) and support our other groups flexibly across the week (Building Futures and Social Activities) All our programmes develop confidence, life skills and independence for young people with a learning disability to prepare them for independent adult life. With a varied and exciting programme, including opportunities to explore meaningful work, volunteering and paid jobs our programmes are known for their excellent outcomes. The Cross Project Worker will report to the A Reason To Get Up Co-ordinator. Our commitment to connecting young people to their community means that all our programmes are delivered in the community, at community venues and spaces.
