Barn Dance @ Holy Trinity Knaphill

Cowboy hats at the ready....why not blow away those post-Christmas blues with a dosey-doh at Holy Trinity, Chobham Road, Knaphill on Saturday 26 January? The saloon doors will open at 6pm and the dancing kicks off at 6.30pm. As well as the incredible Alan Wilkins and his Jigsaw band guiding us through our steps, there will be hot-dogs and nibbles, table quizzes and half time entertainment.

This will be a great evening for the whole family to enjoy and at just £5 a ticket (everything included, although feel free to BYOB if you'd like something to drink other than soft drinks) it's not going to break the bank in these lean January days. Tickets can be purchased via the church office (01483 473489, welcome@htandstschurch.org) or via EventBrite (admin charge applies)

We look forward to welcoming you!

Cafe Church @ St Saviour's Brookwood

Posted on behalf of St Saviour's Church
Cafe Church @ St Saviour's, Brookwood Our next Cafe Church (every 3rd Sunday of the month) is at St Saviour's this Sunday 18th February starting at 10am. This month, we're on a 'Wet Walk' as we read about how Jesus walked on water!

At Cafe Church we aim to create a relaxed, friendly and informal gathering of all generations, with a chance to chat, read the Sunday newspapers, eat and drink, pray and create. You will arrive to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and bacon rolls. There are also danish pastries and a selection of fresh fruit. At some point during our time together, there is a Bible reading, a very short talk and a song or two and then it's over to you - your chance to explore what you've just heard through resources provided on the tables, a craft space and a prayer space. Engage as much (or as little!) as you want.

This is a great church service for all ages and is popular with families with babies and young children. We look forward to welcoming you

Richard, Julie & Jo

Messy Me is back!

Posted on behalf of Holy Trinity Church
Messy Me! at Holy Trinity Church Hall in Chobham Road, Knaphill offers unstructured messy play for parents andtheir under 5s. Every Thursday during term time, from 1.30-2.30pm. After a short break, we are returning for a new messy term on Thursday 19th April.

Messy Me! is a parent and childexperience and we encourage you to join in the fun, the physical activity andsocial interaction. It's time for you to find your inner child and get messytoo! With that in mind, we'd advise you to wear clothes that are OK to getcovered in mess and to bring a change of clothes for your child and possiblyfor yourself (in case you get some mess-covered cuddles!)

Messy play at Messy Me!provides many ways for children to develop and learn whilst having fun and alsoallows the opportunity to play and explore with their parents without messingup your home.

Each week will feature a Biblestory to explore and experience through a range of very messy sensory playstations, imagining God’s story through motion and play. There is no right orwrong way to enjoy Messy Me! It’s about exploring, experimenting, creating anddiscovering. Your child can choose where to play, what to create and how longfor! We'll end each session with a very short Bible story and refreshment time.

Each session costs just £2.50 per family. Due to limited space we are only able to welcome 12 families per week, so to avoid disappointment, it's always advisable to call or email in advance. If you'd like to know more, contact Jo on jo@htandstschurch.org / 01483 473489

A Pop-Up Nativity @ Holy Trinity Knaphill - Sun 17 Dec, 9.30 for 10am

Posted on behalf of Holy Trinity Church
Always cast as the third donkey in the nativity? Fancy a starring role? Why not come along ready dressed or borrow from our (adult and children sized) dressing up box on Sunday 17th December and be ready to shine like a star. No lines to learn and no matter if we get 5 Mary's, 7 Josephs, a multitude of Angels, Shepherds and Wise men showing up from the East...in fact, the more the merrier! There'll be carols to sing, treats and fun to be had. The perfect way to celebrate Jesus' birth this Christmas!

Starting with coffee and pastries at 9.30am, with a chance to get dressed up, ready for the service start at 10am.

We look forward to welcoming you.
