SWIFT bird box building workshop! Tuesday 12th March.

SWIFT bird box building workshop! Tuesday 12th March.

Dear Volunteers.

Would you like to help us build some Swift boxes to help the Swifts in Woking project?

It starts at 10am and finishes by 1pm.

There will be a short presentation to learn more about the importance of helping Swifts in our area and a chance to ask experts about Swifts facinating behaviour and incredible journey across the planet!

The box that you build will be installed at nominated local households that has been approved by the project experts. Or you can join the waiting list if you would like a box your selves.

Spaces are limited so please make sure you are free on the date if you book in.

The workshop will be heald at Heather Farms 'Heathland House' venue.

Directions are given on booking.

Parking options are also explained on booking and tea and biscuits are provided, as are toilet facilities. There is disabled access to the building.

There will also be an opportunity to ask the Thames Basin Heaths Team about their role and any questions about the management of Horsell Commons Heathland areas.

Ranger Rachel.
