Snow Angels make the village safe for Saturday morning

Many thanks to Paul, Ian, Laura, Stephen, Robin, Amanda and Helen for clearing snow from all the pavements in the heart of the village, and gritting them, from 8am to 9.30am this Saturday morning (March 3rd).

The snow is now melting, but at least those who want to reach the shops should not be slipping on the High Street.

Many thanks also to Cafe Class Deli who offered us free coffees afterwards (and to Boz & Ali who also offered to pay for the coffees). We appreciate the support from local traders. Also thanks to the many people who stopped to chat with us.

Horsell Snow Angels

A pop-up volunteering group helping the elderly and anyone else who needs help in Horsell when it snows or freezes. We do small amounts of shopping, collect prescriptions, walk dogs and clear snow.

Call 01483 380025 for help on snowy or icy days. (The service is not available at other times).

Join one (or more) of our mailing lists for user updates, or to become a volunteer. We're also involved in community resilience efforts in Horsell, so we have a community resilience mailing list for those interested in getting involved or being informed.
