Climate Emergency - A Community Response

Climate Emergency - A Community Response

Posted on behalf of Vegan Network

This event is being hosted by the Vegan Network, and is open to anyone with an interest in the climate emergency and what we can do about it.

We would love to fill the venue with people who want to have their say, share their views, and take a stand together to tackle the climate and ecological breakdown we face.

There will be an initial presentation and opening, with a short screening, and then we will break out in to Community Discussion in groups.
A Community Discussion is a way for a group of people to discuss issues or make decisions collectively, where all voices are heard and valued equally and no one person or group are able to dominate the process.

The ideas that come out of the session will be shared widely as a Community Response and call to action via a roadshow at locations across Suffolk.

The event will be held in the Frink room, which is located on the ground floor of Endeavour House. This is an accessible venue for those with disabilities.

For non council staff, good parking is available close by at either West End Road (card or cash), or Portman Road (card only).
