Volunteer Work Day: Woodhouse Washlands Nature Reserve

Volunteer Work Day: Woodhouse Washlands Nature Reserve

Posted on behalf of Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust

Regular volunteer work days at Woodhouse Washlands - come along for a whole day, or join us for an hour or so!

Get some healthy exercise and help us look after this fantastic nature reserve. It’s a great way to explore the reserve and get involved. We’ll be undertaking a variety of tasks including vegetation management, fence repairs and access improvements. Everyone is welcome, no experience is needed and we will provide equipment and training.

The day will run from 10am-3pm, meeting at Furnace Lane Entrance, S13 9XB.

You can register for this event for free via the Eventbrite link on the left hand side of this page or contact us at nature.reserves@wildsheffield.com or on 0114 263 4335 for more information.

You can also just turn up on the day, but it helps us if you contact us before hand so we know how many people to expect. Groups of over 5 people should  definitely contact us in advance.

*Children under 16 must be  accompanied by a responsible adult. Please get in touch if you wish to bring children or young people so that we can make sure that the work and tools are appropriate.
