About St Mary's Church Choir

The choir at St Mary's Church (bottom of Bathwick Hill) welcomes new members at any time. We rehearse on Friday evenings from 7.30pm - 9pm, and sing each Sunday morning at the 10.30am Eucharist (meeting at 9.45am for a quick rehearsal). We also sing Evensong once a month, sing at weddings and funerals as requested and promote other events throughout the year.

Members of the choir also attend the monthly citizenship ceremonies at the Guildhall, Bath, to sing the National Anthem.

St Mary's is rightly proud of its 1878 Father Willis organ and it is the only example of the work of this famous organ builder in the city of Bath. It has given sterling service over the years but now needs major restoration work in order to preserve it for future generations to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you to Bathwick for this fundraising event.
