Sunderland Digital - Accessible User Interface Patterns

Sunderland Digital - Accessible User Interface Patterns

Sunderland Digital aims to bring together and enrich our burgeoning digital and creative community through a series of informal monthly meetups and talks.

Accessible User Interface Patterns

Everyone who needs to should be able to use your service or site.

Common user interface patterns may look great but can be inaccessible or even just inconvenient to a lot of people. Luckily, it is pretty easy to put them right!

Join us in November for Accessible User Interface Patterns with Martin Underhill, Interaction Designer at Orange Bus, working in the Digital Delivery Centre at HMRC, and Steven Proctor, Content Designer at HM Government.

We’ll take a look at common mistakes we make when designing and coding forms on the web. This will include both the visual design and the HTML they are built with.
