1980 - The 40th Anniversary Special

With newspaper headlines filled with tales of strikes, (that bitch Thatcher (whom was responsible for the loss of my first proper job) and the rising unemployment, the only thing growing positively was the UK music charts.

And as a mere 13 year old at the time, 1980 stands out as one of my absolute favorite years for music. And with over 500 albums/EPs released, decided it was the perfect time for a night of pure 1980 dedicated album tracks.

Obviously due to time restrictions, I've only selected about 70 albums to play from, (based on my own favourites) but if there's any album that holds dear to your memories, please come along and request your own favourites.
