Pearlies of St Pancras

Pearlies of St Pancras

Diane Gould, one of our Oddfellow members is a genuine pearly queen. Pearly Kings and Queens originated in 19th century Victorian London and their descendants carry on the work of their ancestors spreading goodwill and cockney spirit and cheer! They support two important children's charities, Great Ormond Street Hospital and a centre that inspires young minds into living within a more sustainable future. Diane will come in her pearly "whistle and flute" and give us a lively talk about their history and work and entertain us with some songs for us to join in with. There is no charge but any donations to the Pearly charities will be welcome. If you would like to lnow more, telephone Joy on 01903 248779.
