Hello everyone!

It's time for the GREAT BRITISH BEACH CLEAN 2019!

Our next beach clean and litter survey will be on Saturday the 21st of September from 10-12 for the 26th Great British Beach Clean and the International Coastal Clean Up.

Calum will open the event at 10am with an information and safety briefing but you can register & sign in under 16 year olds & grab kit from 9.30. After the briefing we will go to the marked out 100m stretch to remove and survey all the litter between the last high tide and the back of the beach.

After that we will do a wider clean up of the area until 12pm.

Litter pickers, gloves & bags will be provided but if you have your own please do bring them along.

Please read the risk assessment attached to this page and we recommend wearing lots of layers with close toed shoes, bring and wear suncream too in case we get treated to some Scottish sunshine!

If you have any questions at all please get in touch by emailing catherine.gemmell@mcsuk.org.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you on the beach!

All the best,

Calum & Catherine
