Choral Workshop

Choral Workshop

Our fresh and exciting new conductor Tori Longdon will be leading the day and giving her insights into what is potentially one of the best-loved choral works of all time.
Woven into the day's music will be a session on how to improve your singing technique and sight-reading - invaluable skills for any keen singer.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

During the day we’ll mix up rehearsals with historical information about the music and sessions to improve your vocal technique and musicianship. There’ll also be plenty of time to socialise and meet new people, so if you’ve been looking for a choir to join, now’s your chance!

You don’t need to bring anything else with you other than a pencil, some water and lunch - and a sense of fun!

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be available during our break in the afternoon and lunch can be purchased from the nearby Waitrose supermarket.

The day will end with a performance of the highlights of this wonderful piece, to which your family and friends are warmly invited to attend at St. Andrew’s church.

PLEASE NOTE: On street parking is available in the streets close to St.Andrew’s but parking in the Waitrose car park is for a maximum of 3 hours only.
