Woking's New Cinema Club

You are invited to attend any film in Woking New Cinema Club's 37th season which is being held at the wonderfully refurbished Mayford Village Hall, which has free parking. With 17 shows we believe that an average of less than £3 per evening for members offers extremely good value for money.

Membership costs £45 for the season or you can attend a particular film for £5 per person. Whether you want to attend one or two films or sign up for the whole season, you will be assured of a warm welcome. We are showing several recent films that have only been shown briefly at local commercial cinemas (if at all!). This year we present not only films made the UK & USA but some made in Denmark, Japan and New Zealand. As well as contemporary titles, we also have some all time classic films.

Screenings are on Thursday evening and we use blu-ray discs, when available, to go with of our surround sound and cinemascope screen.

For information on joining or attending a particular film, contact our Membership Secretary, Stephen Lock on 01483 475745 or email membership@wncc.org.uk To join, simply complete the membership application form and send it (with your cheque!) to Stephen or bring it to a screening.

Performances begin at 8pm and end before 11pm. We do have an interval when light refreshments and homemade cakes can be bought.
